Final Fantasy XIII International announced for the 360 in Japan

by KezraPlanes on September 8, 2010 @ 2:14 am

As we all know Japanese 360 users were left out in the cold by Square-Enix when it comes to Final Fantasy XIII. Well, those same Japanese 360 users can now rejoice as Yoshinori Kitase, the game’s producer, announced that the game will be finally coming out in Japan after almost one year. The game has been slated for a December 16th release.

The curious thing about this announcement is that this edition of the game will include cut content from the original XIII, a post-game event called “Final Fantasy XIII: Episode I” and it will include dual audio and English subtitles as well as Leona Lewis’ song “My Hands”. One is left to wonder is this additional content will also be made available for 360 and PS3 users outside of Japan (and PS3 users in Japan).

I'm really wondering- who didn't expect this?

skparasite says:

Yeah, but who expected it to be on the 360? Not only is it an inferior port (one I still enjoyed mind you), but it also has stuff cut from it and an additional chapter.

Expected it to be on 360. Hopefully this comes out (or at least just FF13: Episode one) here. :|

El Diablo says:

When's that other FFXIII game supposed to come out for the ps3?

Adiuvo says:

No information has been given besides that it might not even make a 2011 release date.
