If you own a PSP and loved Dissidia then Square-Enix has some more love in store for you. This week Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy was revealed in the weekly JUMP magazine in Japan. As of now, little is known about this game except that it will be a true sequel (not a revamped “International” edition as Square-Enix usually does) and two new characters have been confirmed to be in the game: Kain from Final Fantasy IV and Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. The game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show later this month.

Dissidia’s producer Tetsuya Nomura had been teasing a Dissidia sequel ever since the game got released in Japan and the fact it will already be playable at TGS means that it has most likely been in production for some time.

I hope they'll balance it as good as they did last time. The first Dissidia was perfect.
