As we reported on back in July, ‘Lair of the Shadow Broker’ marks BioWare’s latest effort in expanding Mass Effect 2′s branching story arc. Today, BioWare stamped down a firm release date on the DLC pack: September 7.

Players team up with Commander Shepard’s alien-skinned companion Liara T’Soni to take down a sinister force known as the Shadow Broker. More details that tred on spoiler turf are available in the initial announcement.

Pricing for the content rings in at 800 MS Points or $9.99, depending on your platform of choice.
