New Golden Sun Dark Dawn Footage Surfaces

Nintendo of Japan offers up a new trailer highlighting various segments from Camelot’s eagerly-anticipated DS RPG Golden Sun Dark Dawn. The epic ensemble kicking in at around 1:07 brings back memories from the GBA-era.

Judging from our time with Dark Dawn at E3, it looks to retain the charm of previous Golden Sun installments while refining standout gameplay facets — such as the Djinn summon system.

Nintendo set a holiday 2010 release window on the title during its E3 media briefing earlier this year, which the tail end of this trailer reiterates.

Oh wow, I remember playing the original golden sun on GBA and loved it, very underrated RPG imo, this could be a winner.

x3sphere and myself are both pumped for this release. I'll most likely pick this title up after I get a 3DS though. We got to play a bit of it at E3 and all I can say is: I want more!

This'll definitely be a day one purchase for me. I'm glad Issac and crew are still playing a center role, though I'd like to see Felix's gang playable as well.
