According to a VG247 interview with BioWare boss Ray Muzyka, Mass Effect 2 will feature a “seamless introduction to the world of Mass Effect” on the just-announced Playstation 3 version of the game. While no specifics were given as to how the introduction will be played out, Muzyka reassures us that it “provides a good introduction and provides a lot of the back-story”.

Also for those wondering if Mass Effect 3 will be truly multi-platform, Muzyka said it’s a “good guess” so I would expect the sequel to be on all three major platforms.
