[Update: Video of “Prestige” Edition after the break]
With November slowly approaching, Activision has unveiled the 3 separate retail editions of Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops. Following in the footsteps of Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops will be offering a standard edition for all systems along with the console versions receiving a “Hardened” edition and a “Prestige” edition. The Hardened Edition will net you a “Black Ops limited edition medal”, an avatar outfit and four playable cooperative maps.
The Prestige Edition, which includes the Hardened Edition as usual, will also include a “fully-functioning remote camera that transmits both TFT color video and audio to its operator”. Sadly this remote car doesn’t blow up on impact, which it’s in-game counterpart seems to do.
No prices have been determined yet. Although you can expect to pay the same price as the Modern Warfare 2 editions.
