Mafia II Demo

The Mafia II demo has just been unleashed on all three platforms (PC, PS3, 360), all coming in at just over 1gb. If you are a PC user you will have to download the demo from Steam. If you are a Gold Xbox Live subscriber you can download the demo now via the market. Finally, if the PS3 is your system of choice and you happen to have a PlayStation Plus account you can download it on the PlayStation Network Store right now.

The demo, set in the 1950’s period of the game, takes you through a mission specifically tailored for this demo, something you won’t find in the final game. If following the rules aren’t your type of thing, you can take a trip out on the town for 10 minutes before the demo time expires.

I was a huge fan of the first Mafia game so I'll definitely be playing this one when it comes out. The only problem I have with the game so far is that there's no jump button....but that's my only problem

EDIT: Apparantly there might be some difference between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, at least in terms of graphical prowess... According to 2K, this is not the case: http://www.examiner.com/video-game-in-national/2k-mafia-ii-ps3-360-look-and-run-identical

However, I'll take a look at both games running on two (nearly) identical monitors tomorrow on 360 and PS3 to show the differences
