BioShock 2 ‘Minerva’s Den’ DLC Expands Single Player Narrative This Fall

Following up on the just-released Protector Trials DLC, 2K Games today announced its intent to extend the single-player portion of BioShock 2 further with the release of Minerva’s Den this fall.

Billed as a “substantial addition,” Minerva’s Den highlights an uncharted area of BioShock 2′s aquatic landscape: Rapture Central Computing. This never-before-seen locale hides dark secrets, high-tech weaponry, and a “devastating” new Plasmid within its corridors. Also promised are “more dangerous Splicers that command the power of the elements, upgraded Security Bots that throw rockets and lightning bolts, and even a  never-before-seen type of Big Daddy.”

The narrative-driven expansion is slated for a fall release on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
