Those who buy the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will be receiving an invitation to participate in the Battlefield 3 beta. The Limited Edition will also include a “host of weapons, powerful ammunition and camouflage” on top of the beta invite. It’s expected to retail for $80 and will launch on October 12th alongside the standard edition of the game, which will not include a beta invite.

Battlefield 3 was just announced as being in development last month and already we’re receiving word of a beta. Let’s just hope it goes over a little better than the Medal of Honor beta which was plagued by bugs and a very late start for Xbox 360 players.
