Aiming to appease content-starved fans, developer BioWare continues to dole out downloadable content for its RPG epic Mass Effect 2 with the impending arrival of Lair of the Shadow Broker. Hit the jump for details, but only if you’re prepared for spoilers.

This entry chronicles Commander Shepard’s alien-skinned companion Liara T’Soni and her struggle against the sinister Shadow Broker, a force that held Shepard in captivity during his fleeting demise at the beginning of Mass Effect 2. Now backed by a team of combat specialists, Liara sets out on a mission of revenge to settle the score.

Neither price nor a release date was provided alongside the announcement. However, BioWare did provide a trio of screenshots, which can be viewed below.
