Concept Art Gives Fiery Glimpse At Next Hitman

Although yet to be officially announced, concept art for the next Hitman title has surfaced, pointing to a 2011 release. Billed as a “poster concept,” the artwork depicts an ominous scene engulfed in a bright fire-like hue. A bare-backed figure, who appears to be series protagonist Agent 47, is shown standing in front of it all.

Series mainstay IO Interactive appears to be handling development duties, if the company logo displayed at the bottom left hand corner of the poster is any indication. Hit this link for a full-sized view of the image.

As the design studio responsible – Great Graphics Inc. – is a clearly third-party and not affiliated with Square Enix, we wouldn’t go as far to call this a direct confirmation of the next Hitman. At the same time, however, it certainly lends credence to rumors that have been circulating since August of last year – minus Rocksteady’s involvment.

Hope this is true. Definitely going to pick this up. Of course if it isn't true I can just keep on dreaming.
