by Mike Bendel on July 14, 2010 @ 10:43 am

Sony today announced that its PlayStation Minis label has surpassed the one million mark in total downloads worldwide across the regions of Europe, North America, and Asia.

The feat was achieved in less a year following the addition of Minis to the PlayStation Store back in October of 2009. Since then, 85 Minis have been released digitally from over 50 development studios. Minis are smaller, “bite-sized” experiences positioned as an answer to offerings on Apple’s iPhone App Store.

A breakdown of the top ten most popular Minis, provided by Sony, can be found after the jump.

* Age of Zombies
* Monopoly
* Fieldrunners
* Zombie Tycoon
* Bloons
* Spot The Differences!
* Pinball Fantasies
* Mahjongg Artifacts: Chapter 2
* Yetisports Pengu Throw
* Breakquest
