Sega Readies Two Major Announcements

by Mike Bendel on July 13, 2010 @ 7:20 pm

Sega has two major game announcements in store for the remainder of this year, Sega West president Mike Hayes let slip in a recent interview with UK site CVG. While details are essentially nonexistent, the titles are due out in 2011 and 2012.

We’ve got two other big games that we’ll be announcing this year for 2011 and 2012. So we’re not going to be overly aggressive – but we’re going to try to have one or two each year in that segment.

Further, Hayes alluded to the fact that both announcements will be of high significance to its core audience, the same market segment as that of Vanquish. Whether or not these announcements will involve existing or all-new properties is unknown at this point. Time will tell.

I'm hoping for a new Outrun and a 3DS House Of The Dead! It's probably sequels to the Sonic Sports games, but we can dream.
