Medal of Honor Limited Edition Available For Pre-Order

EA today announced a Limited Edition package for the upcoming reboot of its war shooter Medal of Honor. Ringing in at no extra charge over its standard counterpart, those who purchase the LE will benefit with exclusive access to the lightweight MP7, a unique weapon able to penetrate body armor that combines the rapid firing rate of a rifle with the handling of a pistol.

Additional incentives include day one access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns. These are still available to standard edition purchasers, with the added prerequisite of advancing through predefined ranks in multiplayer.

Both versions of Medal of Honor are scheduled to hit store shelves on October 12 in North America, with a European release following on October 15. Those interested can secure their copy of the LE now by pre-ordering at EA’s official MoH site.

Just like Bad Company 2....

Hopefully single player lives up.

The multiplayer beta has been disappointing... it hasn't shown me anything that sets it aparts from other games.

I'll rent this.

wouldn't know since they have yet to release for us 360 people. Too many godamn rumors and no official updates as to why for the last 3+ weeks.

Robby says:

Yeah I was waiting for the xbox beta too, but gave in to the PS3 version.

Don't see this game becoming popular in the current state the multiplayer is in.

Abe Froeman says:

I'm still waiting for the 360 beta as well.

It should've been up by now I would think but I haven't heard of any progress on that front. I've been playing the PC beta in the meantime and am more impressed than I was at E3 but still probably not going to buy it. There's still bugs floating around and most of the maps you can get "out" of them and hide behind enemy lines and spawn kill with ease. The game's also ruined because those with higher levels really do get an advantage (such as a scope on a sniper rifle...something you would think should come standard).

I do enjoy playing it at times, if I'm not spawn raped and I have a good team. It's easier to "spawn rape" on one of the modes they offer - the combat mission mode. With the regular team deathmatch though it's not that big of a problem

EDIT: Also it's really hard to find out who you killed (their name) which I would like to see since sometimes I gun for certain players on the other team

I love how if you open the chat window to try and type, it locks up and you can't type anything or exit the window, but you also can't use wasd to move so you're just stuck there until someone kills you.

Also the gun selection is so small in this game and like you said higher levels have such a huge advantage. Trying to snipe when you first start with no scope and that "sniper rifle" they give you is brutal.

It just seems like a very poor game compared to what else is out there, especially if this was supposed to be the game to kick off the franchise again, I think it could/should be a lot better.

Its funny how ea/dice are getting royally flamed over on the ea/moh forums where the mods have deleted a lot of threads on the subject.
