Split/Second Racing To PSP This Holiday

Disney Interactive today announced that its well-received racer Split/Second is slated to hit the PSP later this holiday season.
Promising to retain the explosive bits of its console brethren on a smaller screen, the PSP rendition touts “unique handling and controls designed specifically for Sony’s premier handheld game platform,” in addition to an exclusive new track and challenges. While online multiplayer has unfortunately been lost in the conversion, players can still tear up the streets and duke it out with their friends in an ad-hoc setting. Up to four players can join in on a single session.
A digital release via PSN is also planned for the PSPgo owners among us.
