Blood Gulch

The guys over at Red vs. Blue just released a new “public service announcement” video for the Halo community as part of “Bungie Day”. The new video reveals that Blood Gulch, the classic multiplayer map from Halo: Combat Evolved will be returning to the Halo prequel this fall in it’s full glory with a lot more green grass.

Bungie has taken it a step further this time with their remake as they expand the playing field to “outside” the canyon, something which was just teased at the end of the video. Also teased, which was probably a joke, was a new ability which allowed Simmons to create a hologram of himself and run out into battle as a decoy.

The PSA video is a warm welcome from your traditional developer videos with your classic Red vs. Blue comedy and antics. You can check out the video after the break.

Why did they have to do this, now I might actually have to purchase it ;_;

Hardrive says:

Same here. This would be the only thing that would make me want to buy this game to be honest. There's too much Halo in my collection.
