Star Wars: The Old Republic to be PC Only

by Staff on July 2, 2010 @ 12:46 pm

Anyone hoping that BioWare’s latest MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic, would be coming to consoles will be disappointed. In a recent interview with CVG, Daniel Erickson of BioWare, has said that it might not even be possible to build a console version and that they haven’t even discussed the possibility.

Further, Erickson expanded on the statement by explaining that the PC is the natural environment for the game with keyboard and mouse controls.

The title is slated for a release in the second quarter of 2011.
