Kane & Lynch 2 Demo Hitting Xbox 360 Exclusively July 1

Update: After a bit of confusion, it turns out the demo is available in all regions sans Germany, as pointed out by community manager Nick in the comments below. Those interested can apply for a token at the official Kane & Lynch 2 site.

Square Enix has announced that a playable demo of IO Interactive’s raw crime shooter Kane & Lynch 2 will exclusively hit the Xbox 360 on July 1. Not only is it exclusive, fans will have to apply for the demo, as spots are limited.

Interested? Head on over to the official Kane & Lynch 2 YouTube page, subscribe, and you’ll be automatically entered in to win a demo access token. Square Enix is packing a fair bit of content in this one, noting that the campaign, arcade and multiplayer modes will all be present and playable in the demo.

Kane & Lynch 2 is due out August 24 in North America. A European release is scheduled to follow on August 27. Look for it on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Just to clear this up - the exclusive 360 demo is NOT limited to the UK and Ireland. It will be available throughout all regions, apart from Germany. It will be available in the US as well.
