Atlus, Trine Dev Partner for Mystery Digital Title

by Mike Bendel on June 9, 2010 @ 2:34 pm

Atlus, publishing connoisseur of several Japanese-based titles, has teamed with award-winning Trine developer Frozenbyte for an mystery title slated to hit digital distribution channels next year. No word on platform specifics or anything of the sort. The only tease given was that more details will be divulged at E3 next week.

We couldn’t be happier signing our new game with Atlus. As an independent developer we felt that partnering with a publisher who is flexible and shares our vision of the game was the best way to bring the game out to a large audience,” said Lauri Hyvärinen, CEO of Frozenbyte. “We can’t wait to unveil the mystery – I’m confident that we’re creating one of the best titles of 2011!

Sounds like one to keep an eye on. Atlus and Frozenbyte is undoubtedly a winning combination. Color us excited.
