Riccitiello: Nintendo 3DS Is “Cool”

Let’s cut right to the chase: EA boss John Riccitiello has seen the Nintendo 3DS, vaguely describing it as “cool” in a recent interview with Industry Gamers. Bound by a strict NDA, Riccitiello chose his words carefully, ensuring not to drop any details that might spoil Nintendo’s June 15 surprise:
It’s like one of these things here where with Nintendo where you’ve got to be very careful here because they’ve got a lot to say at E3 and I want to be careful to not accidentally transgress an NDA. I will tell you, I’ve seen it; it’s cool.
While the statement itself is far from newsworthy, it suggests that EA and possibly other third-party developers as well — already have their hands on 3DS hardware. Six more days till we’ll see it for ourselves.
