Max Payne 3 Delayed Into 2011

Rockstar’s third Max Payne outing has been pushed to next year, parent company Take-Two announced today. This revelation comes as part of a financial earnings report for the second quarter of fiscal 2011.
No reason was given for the slip. Max Payne 3 won’t make an appearance at E3 either, as Rockstar has opted not to attend this year’s show. Fans are in for the long haul, it seems. Announced last March, the title stars a battered and cynical Max, seeking truth in a city enveloped by lies, corruption, and bloodshed.
Take-Two’s current slate of titles due for a Q4 fiscal 2010 release now encompasses L.A. Noire, Mafia II and Sid Meier’s Civilization V.
