The 3DS may be on the horizon, but that isn’t stopping Nintendo from doing all it can to win over those teetering on the edge of a DSi purchase. The company today announced that a DSi XL unit colored in Midnight Blue, as pictured above, will hit store shelves on July 11.

Bold in presentation, the color joins Nintendo’s bronze and burgundy DSi XL offerings in North America, making for a total of three shades to choose from. Nintendo says the suggested retail price will remain at $189.99, despite a recent price drop across all DSi models in Japan.
