In a not-so-shocking revelation, the July issue of print mag GameInformer confirms that inFamous 2 is in development. A cover of the mag, pictured above, shows off a stylish new look for protagonist Cole MacGrath.

Beyond the attire swap, “a new city, new powers, and a powerful new foe” await players in the sequel to last year’s PS3-exclusive hit.

Sucker Punch of Sly Cooper fame is handling development duties once again. With E3 right around the corner, Sony will undoubtedly be offering up more electrifying details on this one soon enough. Stay tuned.
