Ubisoft E3 Lineup Includes Next Driver

Ubisoft has confirmed that the next iteration of its Driver franchise will make an E3 appearance. The getaway car sim has remained under the radar for the past few years, following the debut of Driver ’76 in 2007.

A BBC interview circa 2008 revealed that the company’s UK-based Reflections studio was handling development duties. Platform specifics are still up in the air, though Xbox 360 and PS3 are likely candidates.

The Driver reboot will also be a highlight of Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, scheduled to be held on June 14. Given the lengthy development cycle of this one, expectations are high in our book. Stay tuned for impressions.
