Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer Beta Incoming

Ubisoft is readying a multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, the company revealed today in its year-end fiscal earnings call.
The beta will arrive ahead of the game’s fall release, which likely means a promotion to select participants will soon be announced. More details are promised for E3, alongside a full-on reveal of the game itself. Makes sense to use a beta as a conduit for feedback, given that Brotherhood marks a franchise-first into the multiplayer space.
That said, little is currently known about Brotherhood’s multiplayer aspect. In a formal announcement last week, Ubisoft confirmed that it will feature multiple game modes and a diverse selection of playable characters. Set in Rome, the single-player component stars returning protagonist Eizo in his ongoing struggle against the Templar Order.
