Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package Sets Records On PSN

Are you honestly surprised? We aren’t. Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling buoyantly tweeted earlier today that Modern Warfare 2′s Stimulus Package DLC has already amassed one million downloads, breaking both day one and weekly sales records on PSN.

This feat echoes the success of its Xbox Live counterpart. Back in April, publisher Activision announced that sales of the five-piece map pack toppled 2.5 million on XBL, edging past the coveted one million barrier in just under 24 hours.

So, after all is said and done, are you still suffering from mapathy? Any plans to purchase Infinity Ward’s next bit of MW2 DLC — the Resurgence Pack?
