Steam will hit the Mac on May 12, Valve announced today. Details are forthcoming.
The Mac OSX flavor of Valve’s digital distribution service was originally scheduled to launch in April. No reason for the setback was given. Suppose we’ll just have to chalk it up to Valve Time.
Initial offerings set to appear on the service include Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and various entries from the Half-Life series.
