Jet Set Radio Primed for XBLA Release, Maybe

Is Sega gearing up to release a port of its hit Dreamcast title Jet Set Radio on Xbox Live Arcade? It appears so. An image depicted above, presumably originating from a French account on Microsoft’s PartnerNet developer network, lists Smilebit’s cel-shaded rollerblading gem as playable.

While this does not qualify as a proof that a release is imminent, it certainly gives credence to rampant speculation that Sega is planning to unleash a Dreamcast revival of sorts on XBLA. If you recall, Sonic Adventure DX is also rumored to hit the service.

Perhaps the legacy of Sega’s now-defunct console will live on in the digital space. After all, Sega is banking heavily on digital distribution if its latest restructuring effort is any indication.
