Metro 2033 DLC Teased, In Testing Phase

Developer 4A Games is prepping a bout of downloadable content for its Moscow-set post-apocalyptic shooter Metro 2033. Going by a recent Twitter tweet, the DLC has already passed the conceptualization stage and is undergoing testing:
Testing the DLC over the weekend… it’s probably not what you expect, but we think the true Metro 2033 fans will love it.
It’s nearly a given that the DLC will enhance the single player component. To what extent remains unknown, however. Here’s to hoping that a full reveal is not far off.
