Get ready for a change of pace on the PlayStation Store, as weekly updates will make the transition from Thursday to Tuesday beginning early May in North America. Stemming from the latest segment of PlayStation Network’s bi-weekly video program PULSE, this revelation was revealed by host Christina Lee.

We’re moving to Tuesdays along with the PlayStation Store weekly update. I’ll see you right back here on Tuesday, May 4th.

The shift will also affect those in Europe, albeit in a different way, moving regular content updates to Wednesday. In the case of the NA store, this move puts Sony’s PSN a day ahead of Microsoft’s Xbox Live — which normally sees new titles added to its range of XBLA offerings on Wednesday.
