More Talent Departs From Infinity Ward

Is a mass exodus brewing at Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward? Another two vets have chosen to part ways with the Activision-owned studio. Programmer Jon Shiring and designer Mackey McCandlish are the latest to break ties, joining fired co-founders Jason West and Vince Zempella, along with lead designer Todd Alderman and lead software engineer Francesco Gigliotti.

Shiring broke news of his sudden departure in a Twitter tweet. “After almost 6 years at Infinity Ward, I resigned today. I’m incredibly proud of everything we accomplished and I’m going to miss everyone,” said Shiring on his leave.

No word yet on if any of the ex-Infinity Ward employees will jump ship to Respawn Entertainment, West and Zempella’s newly-formed venture.
