Miyamoto Feels Honored By Natal And PS Move

While Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime is less than enthralled with Sony and Microsoft’s motion control variants, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto takes the calm, cool, and collective approach. Speaking in a recent interview with CVG, the famed game designer expressed his thoughts over both PS Move and Natal, saying that he feels honored by such efforts.
Nintendo should welcome the opportunity when or where something we have originally tried is intensified by somebody else, because that means that other people are trying to starting to show their appreciation for whatever endeavour we have made in the beginning.
The user experience we have created is going to be intensified by the advent of new machines from other companies. It’s a new experience that we originated. So we really see it as a great honour.
Suffice to say, that’s a stark contrast compared to Reggie’s outburst. Then again, Miyamoto has never been one to boast, always remaining respectful of the competition. Classy.
