A Trio of Kingdom Hearts Titles On The Way, Nomura Confirms

Insatiable fans clamoring for more Kingdom Hearts are in luck, as Square Enix producer Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that not one but three titles from the fabled action RPG franchise are inbound, according to a recent FF Reunion interview transcribed by Andriasang. This includes Kingdom Hearts III.
While Nomura was not able to provide a rough estimation as to when Kingdom Hearts III will see the light of day, despite production having already begun, he did note that development is entirely dependent on Final Fantasy XIII Versus. In other words, KH3 will remain a figment of our imaginations until Versus is out the door.
Alongside KH3, Nomura says two other KH titles are in development, with one of them expected to release this year in Japan. Nomura refrained from elaborating on how these titles will tie into the storyline. Platform specifics went unmentioned as well. Regardless, there’s a whole lotta of KH coming our way. And to think, Birth by Sleep still has yet to hit the states.
