Source: LittleBigPlanet 2 Confirmed, Features PlayStation Move Support

by Mike Bendel on March 24, 2010 @ 2:33 am

Media Molecule’s creation platformer LittleBigPlanet is due for the sequel treatment, if comments made by Sony Benelux marketing managing Folkert Langeveld are any indication.

Unaware that the title had not been officially announced yet, Langeveld let slip in an interview with Dutch site Tweakers that LittleBigPlanet 2 will utilize the new PlayStation Move controller. To what extent, is unknown at this point. With its mass market appeal, LBP is a franchise that clearly has potential to serve as a conduit to drive sales of Move.

During its GDC 2010 press conference, Sony demoed a specialized build of the original LittleBigPlanet with primitive Move support, using the controller to pick up and glide objects across the screen.

More at E3, we presume.
