Microsoft: Natal 2 Already In Planning Stages

While Natal still has yet to hit the market in its current form, Microsoft Research Asia head Hsiao-Wuen Hon says development on a second iteration of the full-body motion sensor is already underway.
“When we do invent something first like the Natal kind of scenario, while we have a researcher working with the product group for the first version, we already have a researcher thinking about the second version down the road,” Hon stated in a recent interview with Aussie newspaper Sydney Morning Herald.
Comes as little surprise. Staying ahead of the competition is a never-ending job. The question is, will Natal be successful enough to warrant a follow up? Time will tell.
