At its ongoing GDC press conference, SCEA finally pinned a final moniker on its PS3 motion controller. Hint: it’s neither Arc nor Sphere. It’s called PlayStation Move.

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida proclaimed that it has the potential to “breath new life into games.” Additionally, plans for a $100 PlayStation Eye and Move bundle package were announced. No word on what the Move peripheral by itself will cost.

The wand-shaped device is slated for a Fall 2010 release. Still waiting on a firm date.
