by Mike Bendel on March 3, 2010 @ 1:20 pm

In its first quarter 2010 financial results, publisher Take-Two revealed that BioShock 2 has shipped over 3 million copies worldwide to date, declaring it a success. Launched to critical acclaim in 2007, the original BioShock has shifted over 4 million units to date, bringing total unit sales of the franchise as a whole to 7 million.

If these sales are any indication, we have an inkling that more stories are waiting to be told in Rapture.
