Borderlands DLC Hitting Retail In UK

Taking a page out of Rockstar’s book, the first two bits of DLC content for open-world shooter Borderlands will grace retail shelves in the UK, publisher 2K confirmed today. Comprised of The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, the disc compilation is scheduled to hit UK next month on April 9, with a US release still up in the air. While there’s no word on price, that’s a $20 value, taking current digital prices into account.

Although said DLC is available across all platforms digitally, the disc-based release will be exclusive to Xbox 360 and PC, at least initially. We wouldn’t be surprised if 2K ends up stuffing all of this extra add-on content in an all-in-one package down the road, a la Fallout 3 GOTY.
