Given its title, one would assume the recently announced Ragnarok Online DS would feature online play. However, that’s not the case. Gpara’s coverage on the game has revealed that Ragnarok Online DS is a stand-alone action RPG. Bummer!

While GungHo has not revealed how, they still plan to utilize the DS’s Wi-Fi capabilities in other ways. Perhaps for trading items and such?
