God of War III Goes Gold, Sent Off To Manufacturing

Time to break out the booze — it’s been a long journey, but development on Kratos’ latest epic has officially wrapped up at SCEA’s California-based Santa Monica Studio.
That’s right, PS3 exclusive God of War III has officially gone gold and is in the process of being sent off to manufacturing as we speak, according to a candid tweet by Tools and Technology director Christer Ericson:
God of War 3 has gone gold and is being manufactured! Wheee!
In case you haven’t already marked the date on your calendars in anticipation, God of War III is scheduled to hit North American retailers on March 16.
