Microsoft today confirmed that the XBLA rendition of Rare’s seminal FPS shooter Perfect Dark (800 MS Points) will hit Xbox Live Arcade on March 17. Running at a silky smooth 60 frames per second, a wealth of enhancements have been added over the N64 original, including fully remastered HD visuals and multiplayer support over Live for up to eight players.

In addition, XBLA efforts Toy Soldiers (1200 MS Points) and Scrap Metal (1200 MS Points) have been dated for a March 3 and March 10 debut, respectively.  As part of a limited-time promo, those who download all three aforementioned titles and Game Room will receive 400 MS points in return. Already an Xbox Live Gold subscriber? Microsoft is throwing in a extra month of Live for those that qualify for the deal as well, which runs until March 30.

Microsoft still has more in store for this festive month on Live. Free access to Live multiplayer will be granted to all Silver members through March 26-28.
