During the company’s Q3 investors call, a Ubisoft rep confirmed that the next Assassin’s Creed sees the return of Eizo as he takes to the lavish streets of Rome, headquarters of the Templar Order. As a trained professional, Eizo will be tasked with striking the heart of this secret society, carrying out hits by any means necessary.
Without delving into specifics, the rep also affirmed inclusion of an “innovative” multiplayer component, first mentioned in an investor outlook last month. As a first for the franchise, the gameplay mode will pit players against their friends as assassins online.
