With the impending debut of BioShock 2 a mere week away, publisher Take-Two has kicked its marketing hype campaign into high gear with a stylish launch trailer. It gives players a glimpse at what perils await in this second return to the Splicer-ridden halls of underwater city Rapture as a Big Daddy.

The entire clip is pre-rendered, void of any actual gameplay footage, but that doesn’t make it any less brilliant. We’re in awe. BioShock 2 makes its splash on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 on February 9.
