Nintendo Aiming for Perfection With Zelda Wii, Says Reggie

by Mike Bendel on January 12, 2010 @ 11:16 am

As if expectations weren’t already high enough, Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime says the company is aiming for perfection with the new Zelda in development for Wii. Reggie explains that to Aonuma and Miyamoto, better isn’t simply good enough:

Right now it’s still in development but the key message that Mr Aonuma and Mr Miyamoto are telling us is that it really has to be perfect when it launches. That is what the fans are expecting.

So for all the Zelda fans out there right now, I’d say enjoy Spirit Tracks and know that the Zelda title for Wii is going to come out when it’s perfect.

I’m sure many fans will hold you to this statement, Reggie. We’d argue that nothing is perfect, as such a quality is in the eye of the beholder. Regardless, if that’s what Nintendo is aiming for – then it should impress at the very least!
