Sony’s virtual living quarters – collectively known as PlayStation Home – have attracted 10 million users worldwide, SCEE revealed in an announcement today. The milestone coincides with virtual spaces that have opened up for Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. Considering the platform went into public beta last December, it’s an impressive feat for such a short time span.

Celebrating its success, SCEE business manager Dan Hill says Home is quickly becoming the “meeting place of choice between users and developers,” pointing to the sheer variety of activities available and networking potential. It’s come a long way, that’s for sure.

I think most PS3 owners log on once to check it out and then realize, "WTF am I doing here?" And never log back on.

I am guilty of that myself :D May have to check it out again one of these days. Back when it launched, the most entertaining thing on there was bowling.
