Duke Nukem D-Day Teased

Despite the fact that IP holder 3DRealms is fending off a lawsuit from publisher Take-Two and laid off most of Duke Nukem Forever’s development team back in May, it appears it would still be premature to count Duke out. The official Duke Facebook page is teasing a D-Day pic, shown above, which depicts an ionic backdrop that many fans may recognize.
There’s not much to deduce from the pic, other than it reminds us of the “Stadium” level from Duke’s earlier outings. The map was set to make a reappearance in Forever, meaning it’s possible that this is a new screenshot from the game. Then again, it could be a screenshot from an entirely new Duke game, but that seems unlikely.
