Quake 2 PSP Multiplayer Beta

by Mike Bendel on June 27, 2007 @ 1:38 am

A couple days ago McZonk gave us a progress report on his PSP port of the old classic PC game Quake II, and now he’s released a fully-functional, multiplayer beta of the game. While
this beta is already looking quite impressive, he stresses that the current code base is still somewhat buggy, so report back on any bugs or glitches you encounter over at his blog.

Also, don’t think that McZonk has given up on the single player side of the Quake II PSP port. For now, he’s focused on multiplayer and once that’s finished, he’ll move on to porting the single player aspect of the game.

If this is over infrastructure it could become the biggest homebrew for psp so is it infrastructure?

x3sphere says:

I believe it does support infrastructure. I tried it and looks like you just need to know the hostname or IP of the server you are connecting to.

canadajames says:

Are there any being hosted currently that you know of?

x3sphere says:

nah I don't know any
