Microsoft has confirmed that the popular European board game Carcassonne will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, June 27, at 9:00 a.m. GMT.
For 800 Microsoft Points, players can pit against each other in a strategic face-off, up to five (four offline) players take turns selecting from 72 tiles displaying various features of a city including roads, the walls of a castle or fields. Players and their opponents place tiles and construct towns, roads, and farms while competing to amass the most points.
As a bonus, Carcassonne also includes the Rivers II expansion set, featuring twelve additional tiles.
