If you’re still willing to plunk down $60 for the IWNET-powered PC version of Modern Warfare 2, then you may want to consider purchasing it on Steam. Those who pick up the title through Valve’s digital distribution service can reap the benefits of full Steamworks integration.

That means: built-in achievements as well as Steam Cloud support, which in the case of MW2, ties saved multiplayer sessions directly to your Steam account, allowing for persistent access across multiple computers and subsequent OS reinstalls.

We’re not sure if these extras are worth passing up the $20 gift credit at Amazon, but hey, a deal’s a deal.
