Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Details Arrive

While it was previously known that a playable demo of Left 4 Dead 2 would be made available on October 27 to those who pre-order, Valve today announced that availability will extend to those who did not partake in the pre-purchase program on November 3. On the 360 side, those without an Xbox Live Gold account will gain access to the demo a week later, on November 10.
The demo itself is set in New Orleans, specifically taking place during the “Parish” campaign. In addition to featuring campaign mode play for up to four players, all new boss infected types and melee weapons will be present in the demo. Those itching to try out the new gameplay modes must patiently wait until the title’s launch on November 17.
